Email Address:

Hi there! My name is Mark and I'm delighted to be an Resident Graduate Student in this community while completing my second year as a MPA student at Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs. I'm originally from Southern California, attended college at UC Berkeley, and was living in Washington D.C. for the past 7 years.

Before coming to Princeton, I was working in LGBTQ rights advocacy at the Human Rights Campaign, conducting surveys and public education campaigns on a wide range of intersectional issues. I'm currently studying domestic urban policy and I'm particularly interested in equity-focused work in local government.

At Princeton, I serve in the policy school's graduate student government as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) student representative, as well as our LGBTQ inclusion rep. Beyond these activities, I'm also a lifelong musician and a current member of the Princeton University Chamber Choir. I love biking, cooking, hiking, ice skating, gymnastics, Broadway, and learning to play new instruments. I can't wait to meet you all this year!
