Tiffany grew up in the sunny suburbs of Los Angeles and is currently a 5th-year graduate student in the chemistry department. In lab, she develops new methods to construct chemical bonds in organic molecules using transition metal catalysis and light. Before studying chemistry at UC Berkeley and UCLA, she got her first undergraduate degree at Harvard in anthropology and is happy to chat about that decision and transition process. Outside of lab, she enjoys running, trying new foods, traveling, hiking, all varieties of music, gardening, and farm-to-table cooking. Feel free to say hi anytime if you see her on or off campus (usually wandering in Labyrinth or admiring ginkgo trees).
